Piper M. Mikkelsen

Piper Mikkelsen is an associate attorney who represents Fisher, Bren & Sheridan's clients throughout every stage of litigation. As part of the firm's North Dakota team, she assists with case strategy, discovery, contract analysis, motion practice, and trial preparation. Piper brings experience handling litigation and business-related matters in both private practice and in-house settings. She values the opportunity to bring clarity to complex issues and help clients move forward with confidence.

During law school, Piper gained in-house experience at Border States, where she researched business licensing, employment, and zoning matters and participated in the review of customer and vendor contracts. Through the UMass Law Housing Clinic, she also assisted attorneys with housing matters involving tenants' rights.

Piper earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from North Dakota State University. During her academic career, she held leadership roles in the Business Law Society, Student Bar Association, Panhellenic Council, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Women in Business.
